Specific subject research
The education goal at the Professional Graduate School of Innovation and Technology Management (MOT) is for students to acquire the ability to tackle various problems in society, companies, and organizations from a multi-faceted perspective of technology and management. "Specific subject research" is aiming to solve problems set by oneself in the fields related to technology and management from a multi-faceted perspective of technology and management by integrating the knowledge and skills acquired through lectures, exercises, discussions using case study etc.
How to proceed
"Specific subject research" is for students to select a subject theme with an assumption on their future career path and to proceed with their research voluntarily. Each student will be accompanied by one main academic advisor and a secondary academic advisor, who will provide guidance through discussions on how to proceed with the research and its contents. Three presentations will be held in front of all faculty members during the course. Other students will also participate in the recital, but if the research theme is related to the business content of a specific company, it can be kept private and explained only to the faculty member.
