Message from the Dean of the Graduate School

The Yamaguchi University Graduate School of Technology Management has a mission of "training <technology management> person who work on problem solving from a global perspective while rooting in the region." A <technology management> person is a leader who has the ability to tackle various problems in society, companies, and organizations from the two perspectives of technology and management, and produce creative results.

Now that science and technology are highly developed, widely and deeply permeated into society, whether it is a manufacturing industry, a service industry, a company, or a public institution, is is very important to have an infective management.

This graduate school was established in 2005 to train human resources who can practice such, <technology management>. Since then, this graduate school has developed education in Ube, Hiroshima, and Fukuoka for more than ten years, and has produced a large number of <technology managers>. They are currently active as business owners of technology company, technology leaders, entrepreneurs, consultants, etc. and leading regional innovation. Please read this homepage for what motivated them to enter this graduate school, how they learned, what kind of results they achieved.

The Hiroshima / Fukuoka classroom of this graduate school has a curriculum so that you can obtain a master of technology management by commuting to school only on Saturdays, except during the summer intensive lectures.
