Completed the doctoral program in environmental engineering at the Graduate School of Engineering, Osaka University in 1998. Ph.D. in (Engineering). In the same year, he joined Hitachi, Ltd. and engaged in the development of cooling and heating equipment. In 2001 he received the Society of Air Conditioning and Sanitary Engineering Award. Became a lecturer in 2002 in Faculty of Engineering, Yamaguchi University. He joined the graduate school since 2005. Currently a technical fellow of the Air Conditioning and Sanitary Engineering Society and a member of the International Institute of Refrigeration, the Japan Society of Mechanical Engineers, and the Architectural Institute of Japan.

Various statistical data show that the problem of the domestic manufacturing industry is the solitary technology orientation. In this era of uncertainty, we will clarify what should be created as an ideal form of Japanese industry, define the unified flow from upper level (planning / R & D) to the lower level (manufacturing / service) and improve efficiency. For that purpose, it is important to consider the system as an object, integrate various elements, and construct an idea of overall optimization and its concrete methodology. I would like to hold many discussions with you while discussing dreams, and consider technology management as a unique theory and put it into practice.

Completed the Graduate School of Engineering, the University of Tokyo. Completed PMD from Harvard Business School. As a general manager of a major precision machinery manufacturer and development department holding position of vice president of the US company's local subsidiary, he practices research and development management related to new businesses. In 2005, he was appointed as a Specially Appointed Professor of Osaka University, Director of Electronics Packaging Society in 2014, Technology Expert Council Member of in Ministry of Education, Sport, Science and Technology in 2015, and join this Graduate School of Science since 2016. He has been appointed as Chairman of the Research and Development Special Committee of the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science in 2018. He has co-authored "Introduction to MOT R & D Management" (Asakura Shoten) and co-authored "3D System in Package and Material Technology" (CMC Publishing). He is a doctor of engineering (University of Tokyo).

This graduate school is the only MOT professional graduate school in western Japan with three bases in Ube, Fukuoka, and Hiroshima, that develops MOT human resources who will be responsible for creating new businesses and new industries. For practical curriculum and educational methods that focus not only on acquiring the systematic knowledge and skills of MOT which is necessary for creating new value, but also on improving practical abilities such as problem finding ability, analytical ability, and solving ability. Completed the master's program at the Graduate School of Engineering, Yamaguchi University in 1985. Received a doctorate (engineering) from Kyushu University in 1992. Started working in Yamaguchi University in 1985. After working as an assistant professor and professor in the Faculty of Engineering, he has joined this graduate school since 2005. He received the 14th Yamaguchi Prefecture Science and Technology Promotion Encouragement Award. Appointed as director of the Japan MOT Society, representative of the West Japan MOT Consortium, and Councilor of the Yamaguchi University Education and Research Council. From 2008 to 2010, he has been appointed as Chairman of the Technology Management Professional Graduate School Council (MOT Council). "Strategic Technology Management" (Nihon Hyoronsha) was translated under his supervision. Holding position as dean of the Graduate School until March 2015.

It cannot be denied that Japan's economic power may weaken in the future due to its declining population. Basically, the central force that supported Japan's economic power is its processing technology. The manufacturing system has been supporting the economy may not going to change for a while, considering Japan's geographical characteristics and resources. It can be said that MOT education of Yamaguchi University is an attempt to develop human resources to secure the position that the next generation of Japanese should have in the world. In addition, it is an important task to train engineers who have acquired the sense of management and managers who understand the technology. In recent years, there are concerns that the investment efficiency of research and development will decline in the Japanese manufacturing industry. In the past, products and services with high economic value were relatively clear, and researchers and engineers had no major problems to work on them. However, nowadays, it is not easy to match economic value and technical value due to the fragmentation of consumer needs and the diversification of technology itself. This has led to a decline in R & D investment efficiency. In such situation, it is important for engineers to engage in research and development with marketing knowledge and sense. Graduated from the Department of Agricultural Chemistry, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Tokyo in 1987. In the same year, she joined Lion Corporation. In 1995, she completed the Graduate School of Management and Policy Science, University of Tsukuba (Master of Management Systems Science). After working for Coca-Cola Japan Co., Ltd., she completed PHD in engineering of the Department of Advanced Interdisciplinary Engineering, Graduate School of Engineering, the University of Tokyo in 1999. After working as a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Southern California and RIKEN, she was a specially appointed associate professor at the Graduate School of Science, Hiroshima University in 2004. She has been in this graduate school since 2011. She is a member of the Japanese Society for Artificial Intelligence and the Information Processing Society of Japan. Her books include "Brand Relationship" (Dobunkan Publishing, Chapter 10) and "Genetic Algorithm 4" (Industrial Books, Chapter 12).

Joined Hitachi Metals, Ltd. in 1993. He was engaged in research and development, production control. In 1999 he joined the Fukuoka Prefectural Government. After working as a researcher at the Industrial Technology Center, he has joined this graduate school since 2008. He received the 2013 Light Metal Treatise Award. He is a member of the Japan Society of Mechanical Engineers and the Japan Institute of Light Metals.

Legal strategies on international intellectual property have become even more important in recent years to achieve true innovation in corporate activities in a variety of industrial sectors. Above all, there is a need to formulate and implement a multifaceted IP legal strategy at each stage of "prevention, clinical practice, and strategy" based on a broad perspective and basic understanding of Japan's intellectual property legal system and its practice, protection under international treaties, understanding of the intellectual property system in foreign legal systems, and handling of related laws such as competition law and antitrust law in each country.

In Japan, which one is expected to promote strong innovation in society, I would like to proceed with learning and research with those who aim to be "managers with knowledge in intellectual property legal strategy theory".

Japanese patent attorney. He graduated from Keio University Faculty of Economics in 1996 and Keio University Faculty of Law in 1998. In 2003 he completed Master of Laws, Graduate School of Laws, Chuo University, and in 2013 completed Research Law Program, Graduate School of Laws, University of Edinburgh, UK (Awarded Research LL.M Degree), Graduate Presessional Program of University of Oxford in 2016. During 2016 -2020, he was visiting law scholar of UK Oxford University Law School. In 2017, he was a special lecturer in Keio University Law School . In 2019, he registered as United Nations WIPO IP Arbitration Organization International Arbitration Mediator. After working at Mitsubishi Electric Legal and Intellectual Property Headquarters and IBM Japan IP law department as deputy patent attorney, he has participate in this graduate school since 2015. He has served as a member of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry's Standard Essential Patent Study Group, a vice chairman of the Japan Patent Attorneys Association, and an ISS member of the Institute of Intellectual Property Law, Oxford University, UK. He belongs to the Industrial Property Law Society, the Japan-America Law Society, and the Japan Intellectual Property Society. His books include "Legal Practice and Policy-making on the IoT Business Model: Challenges on IP Law, and Information Law in Japan" (EME Publishing).

Completed the doctoral program in crystal materials engineering at the Graduate School of Engineering, Nagoya University in 1993. In the same year, he was an assistant at Toyohashi University of Technology. In 1999, he was assigned to the Faculty of Engineering, Yamaguchi University as a lecturer and engaged in research on improving the quality of nitride semiconductor materials. In 2002, he obtained an Oregon FE license. In 2003, he engaged in MOT (Technology Management) education activities in the Faculty of Engineering. Received the Education Award from the Faculty of Engineering, Yamaguchi University in 2004 for this activity. In March 2005, he received the Yamaguchi University President's Award (Achievement Award / Best Teacher Category). He joined this graduate school since 2005.

From March 2013 to February 2016, seconded to Malaysia Institute of Technology Malaysia Japan International Institute of Technology and retuned to Yamaguchi University in March 2016.

In 2010 he completed the Graduate School of Business Sciences, University of Tsukuba with a PhD (Systems Management). He joined Nikkei Research in 1992. He is engaged in corporate research, marketing research, etc. He then worked as a lecturer at the Faculty of Education, Gunma University in 2010 and joined this graduate school in 2012.
